Eduardo has been involved in the Industrial Automation arena since 1994, when he started his career as a PLCScada programmer at different systems integration companies. Later, he made a career shift onto industrial communication network sales, becoming specialized on industrial network integration solutions and wireless networks. In 2017, Eduardo moved his attention to Industry 4.0 by helping machine builders to innovate their product portfolio through the offering of digital services, transforming mere equipment into higher value-added assets to the end user. During this time, he learned about the major role played by cybersecurity, considering that several companies were still reluctant to fully embrace IIoT projects due to concerns associated with data and access protection, which led him to dedicate a new chapter of his career to cybersecurity technologies.
