Sean McCaskill is a graduate of Virginia Tech and has been working with dynamic cable management solutions in the ports industry with igus since the year 2000. He has performed many roles in his tenure at igus including sales, sales management, industry management, project management, service management, product and applications engineering, and has led research and development projects. He has developed advanced cable management solutions for container-handling equipment, bulk-handling machinery, and other specialized applications within the ports and maritime industries.
Currently, he serves as the leader of the Shore Power Solutions business unit in the Americas. He brings his experience and knowledge of port equipment and terminal operations to the growing shore power market. He is one of the creators of both the igus Mobile Shore Power Outlet and igus e-chain Reel products which are successfully providing the operational flexibility that is needed to meet today’s ambitious emissions reduction goals.
